Hardware Requirements & Other Information for ShawMan Software Systems
 

ShawMan Software Systems are developed using the Microsoft Visual Studio and latest .Net technology, reports are developed using Seagate Crystal Reports, and supports backend relational databases like MSDE 2000(Microsoft SQL Desktop Edition) or MS SQL 2000 or MS SQL 2005 (all products) or SQL Express 2005 and Oracle 10G (HRIS and MMS only)

ShawMan Software module licenses are sold as stand alone executable files and can be operated on IBM compatible PCs without paying third parties any extra royalty payments towards the software license.

ShawMan Software Systems integrate with Microsoft Office as well as Microsoft Outlook Express and Internet Explorer to offer complete turnkey business solutions to the end user.

In-built Version Control allows remote software maintenance through intelligent service pack downloads from ShawMan’s web support desk. Auto synchronization of software at client side nodes from server over network helps in minimizing system administration.

ShawMan Software Systems are IBM StoreProven (ShawMan POS & RetailMagiK) and IBM Server Proven (ShawMan HRIS, MMS and CRM).

ShawMan Software Systems can be interfaced to other software through its generic interface to other Xbase and ODBC compliant systems.

Integrated Touch Terminals from IBM, EPSON, Posiflex, NCR, Wincor Nixdorf
  Separate HIGH END CONFIGURATION MACHINE for PORTA POS application
  Touch Screens * are optional but recommended for POS terminals only
  Use 40 Col. Remote KOT printers / Slip Printers from EPSON, IBM, STAR
  Print Server for remote printing of KOT’s from D-link (preferably DP 301P+ model) which is used for all windows operating system and supports TCP/IP protocol.
  Printers required for report generation would be Laser printers only and not dot matrix for all our products. 
  Pocket PC would be from Toshiba, HP or Sony with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 (for reference model no. HP iPAQ hx2400 series)
