ShawMan Software Pvt. Ltd. has recently scarved its business comprising of seven group companies into two (hospitality and technology)  primary vertical divisions. Its new hospitality division is headed by Ranjan Gupta and operates three allied business companies. Elaborating on its hospitality ventures, Jimmy P Shaw, Managing Director, ShawMan Software Pvt. Ltd said, "As the right opportunities came our way, the board felt that they should be considered. We are in the process of raising the necessary  capital to support these ventures”.

"Bona Sera Hotels Ltd, a joint venture with Lavasa Corporation Ltd will open 'The Water- front Shaw' in mid·March 2009, which will be Lavasa’s first and only serviced apartment. It will consist of 43 studios, one and two bedroom apartments, a conference hall, a business centre, F&B outlets and a souvenir shop," adds Shaw. SOL Hospitality Ltd is another joint venture with Lavasa Corporation Ltd, which has plans to launch six F&B beverage brands including The All American Diner and Chor Bizarre, owned by Delhi—based Rohit Khattar's Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. Shaw Hospitality Pvt .Ltd. (a part of the  ShawMan Group) is in a partnership business with four other professionals from the hospitality industry including Ranjan Gupta, Delyse Braganza, Muthukumar and Chef Shrirang Bhagwat, and has equity and active participation from Shaw Hotels & Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd. (the consulting company founded by the late Pesi M Shaw), Old World Hospitality Pvt Ltd and ShawMan Software Pvt. Ltd. "5haw  Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. is a hotel management and marketing company which has signed up two hotel   management contracts and four hotel marketing contracts across Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Nashik,  Aurangabad and Chiplun. All are in the three and four—star category. The company is in advanced stages of discussion for another Eve projects closure} Shaw adds.

Shaw believes, "We will be able to offer composite services under one roof be it marketing or operations, systems to training, customer feedback and the best of F&B brands. As we are looking at managing Five-star and live-star deluxe hotels and resorts as well, we are signing up an international luxury hotel resort brand, which will help us achieve this objective, "Shaw states.
